Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiovascular Clinic

About the role

This position provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for patient flow and coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Receives lab results from home monitoring and outside labs, enters into EMR, provides INR results to patients with dosage instructions
• Communicates with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology Nurse Clinician, and home health nurses to provide best practice patient care
• Screens patients for appropriate information
• Greets patients and prepares them for examinations, including EKG
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed

Schedule

M-F Days, No Nights, No Weekends. 7a-5:30p 4 days a week or 8:30a-5p 5 days a week.

Requirements

• Missouri and Kansas State LPN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year

Location

This position will be based at the Plaza and may float to multiple offices including Saint Luke's East, North and South.
