Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology Clinic

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering nursing care to adult and geriatric patients under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Operations. The nurse collaborates with other healthcare team members to implement the patient's plan of care and participates in department Quality Improvement Programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Collaborate with MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, cardiology technicians, and ambulatory care coordinators to implement the patient’s plan of care
• Participate in department Quality Improvement Programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of Minnesota
• Completion of an accredited training program for practical nursing
• BCLS for healthcare providers certification through AHA
• Minimum of six months experience as a practical nurse in a clinic setting

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience preferred
