Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Touchmark at Coffee Creek. The position offers a part-time and full-time schedule from 8:00AM - 8:00PM on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the highest level of dignity and care.
• Distinguish yourself by being a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
• Work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.
• Oversee the care staff and assist them in making informed care decisions.
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Model and encourage others to embody Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion).

Requirements

• Possess an LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
• Possess CPR/AED and First Aid certification (as per state requirements if it must be kept current).
• Have 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
