About the role

Tidewater Physicians for Women is a division of Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care with offices in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. We provide compassionate and individualized care for women of all ages, including young teens to women past menopause. Our practice is distinguished by a large team of experienced and qualified physicians, nurse practitioners, and two licensed counselors who prioritize open communication, hard work, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional medical care for patients under the physician's supervision and assists providers and staff in coordinating patient care.
• Assists providers with procedures and implements physician orders.
• Answers routine patient medical inquiries and educates patients and their families about diagnostic procedures, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Schedules patients for appointments in other departments and clinics.
• Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies, materials, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness.
• Documents in patient charts appropriately: vital signs, test results, prescriptions, patient conversations, and files processed medical information.
• Ensures patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Virginia LPN License
• Able to travel to both locations: Norfolk, VA, and Virginia Beach, VA
• Medical office experience preferred
