Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) provide care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff. The LPN functions under the supervision and guidance of the Nursing Supervisor or Physician.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient records
• Metering vital signs
• Administering and monitoring medication
• Aiding doctors and nurses with tests and procedures
• Helping patients eat, dress, and bathe
• Updating doctors and nurses on patient status

Requirements

• Active LPN License
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care setting

Pay

$1,589 Estimated Per Week

Schedule

40 hours per week, 5 evenings per week. Hours 1500-2330. Every other weekend required and every other holiday. Floating to other units as staffing permits. May be assigned to CNA duties as needed.
