Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

This position is designated as part-time. The position may be eligible for the full or partial employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents in a long-term nursing facility.
• Absorb and document resident’s care needs and progress.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Ensure safety and quality of care is provided.
• Help residents to attain their highest functional capabilities in an environment that promotes caring, respect, and values the individual.

Requirements

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse with no restrictions, and in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross or ability to be certified by date of hire.
• Computer skills sufficient to complete electronic charting, specifically in PointClickCare.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and keep clear and accurate notes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long term care or other senior healthcare environment.
• Experience working with Veterans.
• Effective interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships.

• Basic computer skills for electronic charting.

Pay

• $27.53 - $35.21 /hourly
• $57,483 - $73,518 /annually

Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm
• Evening Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
• Night Shift: 10:30pm-7:00am
