About the role
Sinai Hospital's Neuroscience Unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit caring for neurology and neurosurgery patients, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, seizure, and epilepsy cases.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development and implementation of individualized nursing interdisciplinary plans to ensure that the needs of the patients are met.
- Establishes collaborative relationships with the Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to ensure all daily operations of the unit are met each shift.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Basic Life Support
