About the role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in an empathetic and compassionate manner, similar to how you would want your own care to be.
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Work with a supportive team in a positive environment, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, combining care with your head, heart, and hands each day.
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required.
- CPR certification required.
- IV certification required if required by state regulations.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required.
