Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our outpatient dialysis center. This role provides care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, fostering meaningful relationships and delivering comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in an empathetic and compassionate manner, similar to how you would want your own care to be.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
• Work with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
• Float to various facilities during and after training, gaining experience across different settings.

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• IV certification if required by state regulations.
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
• One year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
• Functional proficiency in DaVita's computer systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $26.00 - $37.00/hour. Specific rates vary by location based on the geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

Schedule

Flexible schedule accommodating mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
