About the role
We are seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join a healthcare team in a patient care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administering and documenting vaccines
- Recording patient conversations
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Preparing patients for visits
- Obtaining specimens
- Performing clinical procedures (e.g., PFT, EKG, nebulizer)
- Processing prescriptions
- Discussing test results with patients as instructed by providers
- Ensuring efficient patient flow and care
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Prior LPN or related experience
- Strong computer skills with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, patient confidentiality, and medical record management
