Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Provide clinical support in a pediatric practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines
• Document patient interactions
• Maintain patient flow
• Prepare patients for visits
• Obtain specimens
• Perform office procedures (e.g., PFT, EKG, nebulizer treatments)
• Process prescriptions
• Discuss test results with patients per provider instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

• Valid NYS LPN license
• Prior experience in a medical practice or related healthcare role
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience
• Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, and patient confidentiality
• Strong assessment skills and discretion
• Adherence to confidentiality and safety protocols
