We are seeking a qualified LPN to join our healthcare team in a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Administering and documenting vaccines accurately
- Recording verbal conversations and patient information in records
- Ensuring smooth patient flow and preparing patients for visits
- Obtaining specimens such as urine and blood as directed by providers
- Entering orders into lab systems promptly and accurately
- Performing clinical procedures like PFT, EKG, nebulizer treatments, and medication administration
- Processing prescriptions and discussing test results with patients as instructed
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Previous experience in a medical practice, as a Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Tech
- Strong computer skills with EMR experience
- Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency in medical records management and assessment techniques
