Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role

Deliver skilled nursing care under the supervision of healthcare providers in the UHS Gastroenterology department. Perform tasks and procedures while maintaining a current New York State Practical Nurse License or within the allowable grace period.

Schedule

Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current New York State Practical Nurse License or within the allowable grace period.
• Basic Skills Certifications such as CPR (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing tasks to support patient care and ensure quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• Adhere to standards and protocols for safe and effective nursing practices.

Skills & Qualities

• Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Ability to follow clinical guidelines and procedures.
