About the role

Patriots Colony is hiring a 13-Week Temporary LPN for Night Shift.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
• Makes sure the resident is monitored.
• Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Ensures the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families.
• Aids in supervising auxiliary personnel such as CNAs based on their education, training, policies, and resident needs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Encourages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modifications to the individual service plans.
• Identifies changes in the resident's condition with proper documentation according to nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Uses good judgment and specialized skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years LPN Nursing experience (Required)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days (Required)
