Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
• Help patients with mobility and functional activities
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans

Requirements

• Valid physical therapy assistant license in North Carolina
• Must be in good standing with the State Physical Therapy Board
• Current CPR BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Completion of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
