Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary
Performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Responsibilities
- Performs selected tests and measurements in consultation with the therapist
- Maintains documentation on all treatments
- Affirms appropriate equipment performance prior to each use
Qualifications
- Education Required: Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, Active U. S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited PA program is acceptable
- Certifications Required: Florida State License
