About the Role
Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to perform treatment, patient education, and exercise instruction aimed at improving patient well-being within home care settings. The PTA will follow all state laws, work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and make recommendations for care plan adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients in exercises, gait, transfers, and safety
- Monitor patient responses to treatment
- Coordinate with healthcare team members
- Work flexibly in diverse home environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
Requirements
- Current licensed or certified PTA in the state of practice
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
- Availability for weekend rotations
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and mobility assistance
