Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current pharmacy technician license in the state of Michigan or eligibility for licensure
- Sterile compounding experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for tasks like preparing IV admixtures and operating computer systems
- Lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds, including medication supplies, equipment, and IV solutions
- Bending, stooping, or kneeling to access supplies or storage areas
- Walking or standing for extended periods (typically 4–8 hours)
Duties
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation of sterile IV medications for infusion therapies
- Maintain medication and supply inventory
- Support medication documentation
- Help coordinate timely medication delivery for patient treatments
