Licensed Optician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with selecting frames, lenses, and other optical products.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear recommendations.
• Accurately measure, fit, adjust, and dispense prescription eyewear.
• Perform optical lab duties, including lens cutting and finishing, as assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and retail teams to ensure efficient patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Dispensing Optician (LDO) certification required.
• Previous experience in optical dispensing preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Schedule

• 35–40 hours per week.
