Licensed Optician

Job Duties

• Affords members in choosing and ordering eyeglasses.
• Uses computer to process orders, fits eyeglasses, dispenses eyeglasses and contacts and oversees apprentices.
• Follows department procedures for stocking and cleaning.
• Provides a high level of member service.

Requirements

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
• Affords assistance with department duties as necessary.
• Affords assistance in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of eyeglass fitting and dispensing techniques.
• Experience with computer systems and peripherals.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as measuring, fitting, and cleaning.

Skills

• Computer literacy.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of eyewear fitting and dispensing.
• Physical dexterity for fitting and adjusting eyeglasses.
