Licensed Occupational Therapist - Contract Position

About the role

Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Older Adults Modification Program (OAHMP).

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive home evaluations using the Home for Life Design Assessment tool.
• Develop a scope of work for each client based on the evaluation results.
• Oversee licensed contractors in the implementation of recommended home modifications.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations one month after the installation of recommended items to ensure success.
• Utilize the Home for Life design software for all assessments and evaluations.
• Work closely with Certified Aging-In-Place Specialists (CAPS) to evaluate data and approve or reject plans.
• Provide oversight of in-house CAPS if applicable.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Missouri.

Qualifications

• Experience with aging-in-place assessments and home modifications.
• Strong understanding of the Home for Life Design Assessment tool.
• Proficient in Home for Life design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of aging-in-place solutions.
• Ability to conduct thorough home assessments.
• Experience working with licensed contractors.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
