Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - Weekend Eve Shift

About the role

Marquis Companies, in business since 1989, is a growing healthcare organization that operates post‑acute rehab and assisted living facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab and Consonus Pharmacy across California, Oregon and Nevada. The Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) position is for a Weekend Eve shift, with full‑time, part‑time and on‑call availability.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
• Refill and clean the medication stock cart.
• Administer medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state requirements.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
• Direct the day‑to‑day functions of Nursing Assistants (RN).
• Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities (RN).
• Ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents (RN).

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate state.
• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills are needed for use of the electronic medical records system.
