About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care in a long-term care facility.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide wound care
- Supervise nursing assistants
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate admissions
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure resident safety and dignity
- Document care and maintain proficiency with electronic health records
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
- Long-term care experience (advantageous)
Skills
- Strong clinical observation and medication administration
- Accurate documentation
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations
- Effective communication
- Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
