Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services
• Refilling and cleaning the stock cart
• Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state
• Other nursing duties as assigned

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants
• Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts' services, programs, and activities

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State
• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required
• Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system
