Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services
• Refill and clean the stock cart
• Administer medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents
• Direct the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants
• Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts' services, programs, and activities

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State
• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required
• Strong computer skills needed for use of electronic medical records system
