About the Role
Under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse, you will perform direct and indirect nursing care for patients. You are responsible for the care provided to assigned patients and accountable to the unit manager or charge nurse for such care. Your duties include providing care in conformance with Nursing Department Policies, Standards of Practice, physician orders, and an approved plan of care. You will also promote communication regarding patients’ status, changes in condition, and needs with the licensed nurse. Your role functions within Nursing Department and CVMC/Woodridge policies and procedures while supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the nursing department and CVMC/Woodridge.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program.
- Registered in the State of Vermont as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform basic nursing care skills.
