Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) - Adult Home Health - Full time day

About the role

Join our growing team at The University of Vermont Health Network – Home Health and Hospice as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes or at the Respite House, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Converse clearly and comfortably with clients who are elderly, ill, and/or incapacitated, and explain/basic skills.
• Report effectively and deal calmly and efficiently with emergency situations if necessary.

Requirements

• Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
• Previous homecare or facility care experience preferred but not required - training provided for the right candidate.
• Keen observation skills and the ability to report effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with clients who are elderly, ill, and/or incapacitated.

Schedule

Day time schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, an awesome and coveted day shift.
