Licensed Mental Health Therapist Remote, Oregon
About the Role
Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMHC) to provide remote counseling and therapy treatment to patients throughout Oregon. This position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and follows a "say yes" first clinical approach, treating patients where they are and guiding them toward recovery and stabilization.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Bereavement/Grief Counseling in both individual and group therapy settings.
- Engage patients in their treatment plans and ensure timely review and signature of clinical Psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinic records, documenting all services and patient activities.
- Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans.
- Participate in regular case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure clinically appropriate patient disposition.
- Attend individual and group supervision, ongoing education, and training to maintain and improve competency.
- Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted mental health license in the state of primary residence and an Oregon State License (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).
- Comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Willingness to work primarily with pediatric patients.
- Patient-first mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.
- Manual dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Visual requirements: Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.
- Hearing: Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings.
- Work environment: Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity.
