Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches via secure telehealth platforms.
- Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate virtually with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and APPs, to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system.
- Practice standard of care for the delivery of psychotherapy services.
- Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other needed treatment modalities.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in the state where services are delivered.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Must be fully licensed to practice independently (no provisional or associate licensure).
- Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient psychotherapy preferred.
- Tech-savvy with comfort using EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant video platforms.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of mental illness & related issues.
- Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet and private, secure workspace for telehealth.
- Ability to provide at least 20 hours per week of direct patient care.
