Essential Functions
- Provide behavioral health screening of detainees referred by facility staff or identified through prescreening.
- Offer individual and/or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions.
- Assist custody and medical staff in monitoring and managing detainees with behavioral health concerns.
- Maintain therapeutic support for segregated and isolated detainees.
- Coordinate with county behavioral health services for continuity of care and discharge planning.
- Complete documentation and maintain records for referral tracking and CQI.
- Support and train to provide behavioral health support and solve problems.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field required.
- Current licensure with clinical specialty from the appropriate state licensing board preferred.
- CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained while in this role.
- Hands-on or online certifications are accepted.
- Must be able to practice independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
