Licensed Mental Health Professional - New Hope Mental Health Clinic (New, Hope MN)

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic alliances and conduct diagnostic and comprehensive assessments.
• Individualize treatment planning and provide daily interventions.
• Communicate professionally through documentation and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• May provide clinical supervision organizationally for those working towards clinical licensure.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Mental Health Professional in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience in evidence-based practices supporting client recovery.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings until clinic closes at 6:00pm.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health settings.
• Experience in clinical supervision.

Skills

Pay

Schedule

Main Job Duties

• Responsible for the development and implementation of client mental health services.
• Ensure documentation standards are met and address emergency situations as needed.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide therapy in area of specialization, as required.
• Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships within the agency and collateral partners.
• Facilitate effective referrals to schools, community agencies, and other professionals.
• May provide program and/or divisional clinical supervision for People Incorporated staff.
• May provide clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and agency trainings.
• Assist in the development of specialized training for other clinical staff members.
