Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to individuals under supervision, including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide mental health consultation and training to facility staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and specialized clinical services.
• Maintain accountability for services provided through Quality Improvement activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.
• Coursework and experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders.
• Licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board (LMSW, LPC, etc.).
• Maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with crisis management, severe mental illness, brief interventions, substance use and withdrawal awareness, boundary setting, and emotional resilience.
• Familiarity with 5150/5250 mechanics, Title 15 & BSCC Standards, and CalAIM continuity of care.
