Licensed Mental Health Professional

Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with parents and children and adolescents in a mental health related field.
• Experience with various computer software programs.
• Licensed clinical social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed mental health counselor within the State of Florida as defined in Chapter 491, F.S., and a Florida driver license.

Preferred (Education/Experience)

• Ability to assess complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues;
• Gather and interpret clinical data;
• Develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Apply sound clinical judgment in high-pressure or crisis situations.
• Able to interpret policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines, and adapt strategies to meet diverse student and family needs.
