Location: UF Health Adult & Child Psychiatry – Springhill 4037 NW 86 Terrace Third Floor Gainesville, Florida 32606
Schedule: Monday - Friday (40hrs. per week) | 8:00am-5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Performs a complete intake assessment on each client/new patient and provides treatment planning for each patient.
• Treatment includes the treatment of a wide variety of psychological disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, OCD, Substance Abuse, and Related Disorders in individuals throughout the lifespan.
• Contributes to and promotes the operational, financial and productivity goals of the assigned cost center.
• Exhibits excellent documentation skills, including the timely and accurate completion and maintenance of clinical and departmental documentation.
• Pursues opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or another related field required. Two years of experience in behavioral health services strongly preferred.
• High level of computer literacy, including demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required. Previous experience with Epic or other electronic medical record system preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida's Mental Health, Alcohol, and Drug Abuse laws required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC required.
• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): (Refer to CP 1.51)
