About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring clinical integrity, patient safety, and full compliance with the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program. The Licensed Medical Professional provides patient consultations, oversees medication dispensing practices, and monitors each medical transaction within the dispensary for safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultations to new and returning patients regarding product selection, dosing, and methods of consumption
  • Absess patient needs and ensure appropriate education for safe medication use
  • Answer clinical and therapeutic questions with evidence-based guidance
  • Support patient understanding of potential benefits, risks, and responsible use
  • Ensure full compliance with Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations
  • Verify patient eligibility and program compliance before dispensing
  • Monitor each medical transaction within the dispensary for safety and regulatory accuracy
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with DOH standards
  • Maintain readiness for scheduled and unscheduled regulatory inspections
  • Collaborate with dispensary leadership to uphold safe dispensing practices
  • Assist with workflow coordination to maintain patient care standards during peak volume
  • Serve as a clinical resource for dispensary staff

Required Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Completion of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program 4-hour certification training
  • Strong understanding of medical marijuana products, dosing methodologies, and delivery systems
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania DOH cannabis regulations
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills

Pay

This part-time position offers $55 hourly compensation.
