About the role
NFI North is seeking a Licensed Clinician for our transitional PNMI housing program in Lewiston, ME. The program serves young adults aged 18-25 who require mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes/assessments and update 90 day treatment plans
- Provide weekly individual counseling and support/co-facilitate groups
- Offer clinical guidance and training to direct care staff
- Collaborate with outside providers, family members, and ensure compliance with funding source regulations
- Engage in activities such as new hobbies, community volunteering, outings, and skill practice with clients
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work or Human Services with a minimum of three years related experience
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred
- Minimum of a conditional license required
Qualifications
- High energy, creativity, and willingness to take initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Computer proficiency for navigating electronic health records
- Supervisory role alongside the program’s clinical case manager

Rotating on-call responsibilities every two months
