Licensed Clinician

About the role

NFI North is seeking a Licensed Clinician for our transitional PNMI housing program in Lewiston, ME. The program serves young adults aged 18-25 who require mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes/assessments and update 90 day treatment plans
• Provide weekly individual counseling and support/co-facilitate groups
• Offer clinical guidance and training to direct care staff
• Collaborate with outside providers, family members, and ensure compliance with funding source regulations
• Engage in activities such as new hobbies, community volunteering, outings, and skill practice with clients

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Human Services with a minimum of three years related experience
• At least two years of clinical experience
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred
• Minimum of a conditional license required

• High energy, creativity, and willingness to take initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency for navigating electronic health records
• Supervisory role alongside the program’s clinical case manager
