Licensed Master Social Worker (NY HELPS), Central New York Psychiatric Center, Fishkill Satellite Unit, P27524

Duties

As a Licensed Master Social Worker at Central New York Psychiatric Center, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing culturally competent and evidence-based treatment and support services in a recovery-oriented environment to individuals with mental illness. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning
• Developing treatment plans with individuals and treatment team; monitoring and evaluating progress; and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Determining discharge needs and appropriate community resources
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker. OR Candidates within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Qualifications

Pay

This position is eligible for a Mid-Hudson adjustment of $2,000. Additional compensation may apply based on shift assignment. 7% shift differential for evening shift and weekend days. 10% shift differential for night shift.

Schedule

This position is at Central New York Psychiatric Center's Fishkill Satellite Unit located on the grounds of Fishkill Correctional Facility in Dutchess County. This position is eligible for a Mid-Hudson adjustment of $2,000.
