Licensed Master Social Worker (NY HELPS), Central New York Psychiatric Center, Coxsackie Satellite Unit, P27530

Duties

• Providing crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning
• Developing treatment plans with individuals and treatment team; monitoring and evaluating progress; and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Determining discharge needs and appropriate community resources
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
• Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• Candidates within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Qualifications

LMSWs are eligible for shift differential pay 7% for evening and weekend day shifts 10% for night shifts
