Licensed Master Social Worker (NY HELPS), Central New York Psychiatric Center, Coxsackie Satellite Unit, P27530
Duties
- Providing crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning
- Developing treatment plans with individuals and treatment team; monitoring and evaluating progress; and modifying treatment plans as needed
- Determining discharge needs and appropriate community resources
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
- Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
- Candidates within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Qualifications
LMSWs are eligible for shift differential pay 7% for evening and weekend day shifts 10% for night shifts
