Licensed Master Social Worker LMSW

Newly hired full-time LMSWs are eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. To qualify, start date must be on or before July 31, 2026.

About the role

The Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) oversees the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the Social Services Department within the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards. Works directly with discharge planners, family, or responsible parties to initiate facility tours and follow-up procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct social service programs of the facility.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for identifying the medically-related social and emotional needs of patients/residents.
• Assist in providing solutions to social and practical environmental problems, including seeking financial assistance, discharge planning (including collaboration with community agencies), and providing referrals to other community agencies when specialized assistance is required.

Requirements

• Current Social Work license in good standing with the state (Master’s Degree required).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a human services field in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Pay

USD $68,600.00 – USD $77,000.00 per year. The wage range for this role accounts for factors such as skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
