Licensed Massage Therapist Part-Time/Weekends Only

About the role

Woodhouse Spa strives to create a unique, luxury spa experience for each guest. The Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) is responsible for performing massage therapy, body treatments, and East‑Meets‑West treatments in accordance with licensing board regulations, Woodhouse treatment protocols, and corporate standards. The role supports the company’s mantra of “the willingness to serve and the ability to deliver,” contributing to an unforgettable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in multiple massage modalities and deliver all Woodhouse treatments according to award‑winning protocols.
• Perform 5‑8 different massages or body wraps per day, including 50‑, 80‑, and 110‑minute services.
• Review guests’ charts for contraindications and educate guests on the benefits of each service.
• Recommend and upsell additional enhancements, treatments, and home‑care products; meet or exceed retail sales goals.
• Sanitize treatment rooms according to the Sanitation Policy and organize treatment rooms, preparation areas, and changing lounges.
• Electronically document session notes for every guest.
• Market Woodhouse services for future visits and protect the Woodhouse brand.
• Abide by all licensing standards set by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation and all corporate protocols.
• Maintain a current massage therapist license.

Requirements

• Active Massage Therapist license.
• Ability to stand for up to 6 hours at a time and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 30 lb, bending, reaching, stooping, repetitive motion).
• 5 years of massage experience preferred; previous luxury spa experience preferred.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and adaptability to a fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment.
• Excellent communication skills for educating guests and recommending products.
• Compliance with all licensing and corporate standards.

Pay

Licensed Massage Therapists earn an estimated $43,000 – $50,000 per year, plus the benefits package described above.

Schedule

Flexible, part‑time schedule available. Shifts may require standing for up to 6 hours, walking across the spa, and occasional use of stairs.
