Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. You'll work alongside experienced field leaders, coordinate with project teams, and help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install complete plumbing systems for residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Coordinate daily activities with General Contractors, Project Managers, and field leadership.
  • Install plumbing systems in compliance with Michigan plumbing code and company quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of materials, labor, and completed work.
  • Mentor and assist plumbing apprentices in developing their skills.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Represent Moore Mechanical professionally with customers, contractors, and trade partners.

Requirements

  • Current Michigan Journeyman Plumbing License.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding work.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
