About the role

We are currently looking for motivated Plumbers to join a dynamic team. Residential service only — no commercial services.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Install)
  • Tuesday–Saturday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Service, higher-paying shift)

We are off all major holidays. Dispatch from home with a well-stocked truck.

Pay

$40–$50 per hour + spiffs (DOE), with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes
  • Ensures client satisfaction with all work, including cleanup
  • Assembles pipe sections, tubing, fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
  • Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools
  • Directs helpers engaged in pipe cutting, pre-assembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components
  • Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observes pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
  • Conducts appropriate tests to ensure successful completion of each plumbing job

Requirements

  • Massachusetts Journeymen Plumber License
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience
  • 2+ years of experience running your own calls
  • Extensive plumbing knowledge: gas, boilers, and troubleshooting
  • Plumbing layout knowledge — “How it works, how it’s connected”
  • Tech proficiency (tablet)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
