Qualifications
- Active Registered Intern FL license.
- Current NPI number.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policy.
Skills
- Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
- Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to incorporate client history, symptoms, environmental and related issues to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Practice ethical conduct in all clinical and professional activities.
- Comply with Ellie Mental Health policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies, and performance contract documentation requirements.
- Must be able to work autonomously.
- Prefer candidates with creative and innovative approach to mental health.
- Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans/reviews, and complete clinical documentation according to company policy.
- Maintain a minimum caseload.
- Provide clinical interventions focusing on the reduction of symptoms and increasing the individual’s ability to perform activities of daily living.
- Deliver excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients accomplish therapeutic goals.
- Collaborate with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and applicable site staff as needed.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
- Communicate and work with clients/other staff in a manner that demonstrates knowledge of cultural diversities.
