Licensed Intern Clinical Therapist

Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans/reviews, and complete clinical documentation according to company policy.
- Maintain a minimum caseload.
- Provide clinical interventions focusing on symptom reduction and enhancing daily living abilities.
- Deliver excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve therapeutic goals.
- Collaborate with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and applicable site staff as needed.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
- Communicate and work with clients/other staff in a manner that demonstrates knowledge of cultural diversities.
- Practice ethical conduct in all clinical and professional activities.
- Comply with Ellie Mental Health policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies, and performance contract documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Active Registered Intern FL license.
- Current NPI number.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and be insurable under Ellie Mental Health policy.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply crisis intervention techniques.
- Strong diagnostic skills, incorporating client history, symptoms, environmental, and related issues to formulate proper diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to provide clear, concise, and well-constructed written documentation.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Prefer candidates with a creative and innovative approach to mental health.
- Ideal candidates should have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing.
