What You'll Do

• Answer inbound calls from prospective customers
• Quote and sell Farmers insurance products
• Identify customer needs and recommend coverage solutions
• Cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products
• Build customer relationships through exceptional service
• Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers
• Maintain and exceed sales goals and performance metrics

We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and performance metrics
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer and technology skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Required Licenses

No insurance license required. Farmers will sponsor and train qualified candidates to obtain a Property & Casualty License within 90 days of hire.

Work Options

• Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, up to 2 days remote
• Considered for fully remote opportunities for candidates in Eastern Time Zone states with an active P&C or Personal Lines License

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Some evenings required
• Saturday rotation (approximately once per month)
• Some holidays required

Training Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Compensation

• Base Salary: Starting at $40,000+ annually
• Average performers earn $27,300+ in annual incentives
• Top performers earn $75,000+ in annual incentives

Experienced Professionals

Candidates with 3+ years of licensed insurance sales and call center experience may qualify for Senior or Lead Sales Consultant positions with starting base salaries of $50,000+.
