Position Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs, including new policies, policy edits, payment processing, renewal, and reinstatement.
• Inspect vehicles to assess their suitability for insurance coverage.
• Seek out new clients, generate client lists, and develop a network of contacts through networking and marketing efforts.
• Manage administrative tasks and handle policy renewals, working closely with underwriting to finalize policies.
• Participate in daily office duties and assist with maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, though not required.
• Customer service and insurance sales experience are desirable but not mandatory.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
• You must hold a valid and current Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License in California.
• Reliable transportation is essential for daily marketing activities.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities are necessary.
• You must be able to work independently and quickly adapt to any company proprietary software.
• You must complete continuing education courses to maintain your active license status with CDI.
