About the role

A business office administrator is needed for an independent insurance agency in Summerville.

Responsibilities

  • Handling hundreds of inbound and outbound phone calls per week
  • Organization of material
  • Assisting with administrative tasks
  • Record-keeping
  • Communication with clients and producers
  • Claims assistance
  • Local deliveries
  • Content creation
  • Multitasking

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial, hardworking, consistent, and persistent personality
  • Ability to work during normal 8AM-5PM business hours Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and Saturdays
  • Excellent telephone presence
  • Proficient in using a MAC computer, a Windows PC, and Microsoft Office
  • Dependable transportation
  • Current and in good standing property and casualty insurance license AND life, health, and accident insurance license

Qualifications

  • Minimum 30 days of research to determine how to obtain necessary licenses
