Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)- Inpatient Psych/detox

Sought after a therapist skilled in treating trauma, mental health, and addiction.

Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in a specialized setting.
Assess the mental and behavioral health status of referred clients.
Formulate differential diagnoses of mild to severe mental health conditions.
Collaborate with clients to create short-term and long-term treatment plans and implement those plans.
Provide evidence-based interventions and skill development to improve client wellness, functioning, and achieve identified goals.
Use therapeutic interventions to assist patients in achieving treatment plan goals and improving quality of life.
Demonstrate understanding of DSM 5.
Ensure compliance with Licking Memorial Policies and Procedures, state regulations, and Joint Commission Standards through ongoing education and documentation.

Master’s degree required.
Maintain current license with continuing education credits.
Comply with Social Work/Counselor ethical codes as required by the State of Ohio.
LISW or LPCC license required.
Trauma experience and certification preferred but not required.
At least one year of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
One year of experience working with adult populations.

Must maintain current licensure with continuing education credits.
Must adhere to the Social Work/Counselor Code of Ethics as required by the State of Ohio.
Experience with trauma treatment is preferred but not mandatory.
