Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations and interpreting results
• Identifying appropriate treatment options based on each patient's individual needs
• Recommending, fitting, programming, and troubleshooting hearing technology
• Educating patients and their families about hearing loss and communication strategies
• Developing long-term relationships with patients and providing exceptional follow-up care
• Maintaining accurate clinical and patient records
• Collaborating with our Patient Care Coordinators and clinical team
• Participating in community and physician outreach when appropriate
• Helping patients make informed decisions without high-pressure sales tactics
• Continuing to develop your clinical knowledge and expertise

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Professionalism, reliability, and excellent follow-through
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
• Genuine desire to help people hear better and live better

You should be comfortable having difficult conversations, educating rather than selling, and taking the time necessary to understand what matters to each patient. You should be confident enough to make clinical decisions independently—but humble enough to ask questions and learn. The Opportunity

This position is based in our Western Pennsylvania clinics, serving communities where we have established practices and a strong history of patient care. We're particularly interested in an experienced HIS who can step into the role and become productive quickly. We are willing to train the right person on our systems, processes, and fitting platforms—but we're looking for someone who already brings the clinical foundation, professional maturity, and patient-care mindset necessary to succeed.
