- Routine inspection of electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
- Identifying faults or hazards.
- Troubleshooting system failures.
- Reviewing blueprints to understand wiring placement.
Maintaining and Troubleshooting Electrical Systems
- Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
- Responding to fault requests and emergency electrical failures 24/7.
- Providing suggestions for equipment replacement.
- Writing and keeping electrical maintenance reports.
- Installing new electrical components in the building.
Compliance and Standards
- Adhering to safety and performance standards.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance Electrician.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Physically strong and able to stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- Dutchess County Electrical License E-1.
